PattyO Ferreira has always had a passion for helping others. After retiring from 34 years as a registered nurse, she became involved with animal rescue in 2003 by volunteering for a local rescue and a Bay Area municipal shelter. Disturbed by the over whelming number of small dogs she saw with few adoption avenues available, Patty began developing relationships with non-profit rescue organizations in California and other states to find good homes. Over the years Patty is responsible for changing the fate of thousands of small dogs in the Bay Area and continues to work diligently to find these precious animals a safe place to call home – and
someone to spoil them!
Patty lives in the Bay Area with her husband Louie and their pack, which always includes a little foster dog or two.
